Autumn runway trends in make up push the boundaries for black gel liner and introduce punchy, peach pallet tones. In conceptualising this shoot we collaborated with talented professional make-up artist Courtney Chadwick and we played on the peachy pallet tones accenting with copper and rose gold tones.
Copper Shadow: Rather than a traditional black smoky eye, the Autumn version features a copper shimmer in the center — perfect for brown-eyed girls to soften their eyes to look more caramel and dreamy. We used predominantly Lula Fox Velvet Garnet shadow in the crease, layered with shimmery Copper Lights. The trick to a successful smokey eye is blending the shadow to soften the edges. We recommend the Lula Fox vegan angled sculptor brush.
Gel Liner the Double Flick: This season gel eye liner has gone graphic. Using a precise line and smudge brush, line your upper lashline with a the Lula Fox non toxic gel formula eyeliner. Make sure you start right in the inner corner of the eye. Draw parallel lines outwards from the lashline creating slightly upturned flicks ending diagonally beneath the end of your eyebrows.
Punchy Peach: In past trends peach has been used more for spring. However in choosing more rich tones for Autumn you can create a romantic yet sophisticated look. In this shoot we used the matte non toxic lipstick Coral Kisses for a beautiful rich peach lip to accentuate the blush sash of the dress. Add a touch of shimmery copper toned shadow to your lips for extra glamour.
